MCS accreditation No. 1113

Schools and public sector organisations now have the potential to receive 100% funding for renewable energy projects.

There are two sources of funding. The first is government backed through the Low Carbon Building Programme, by using a registered installer such as Green Generation 50% of the project cost will be funded.

The second is through the Community Sustainable Energy Programme. This is backed by The Big Lottery Fund, applications are assessed quarterly on a competitive bid basis. Although this money is not guaranteed, because of the increased educational benefits a school installation provides it is well worth applying.
